Harrassing phone calls to leasee that make payments on time. Double payment withdrawn from checking after notice of closing business. Ripoff

After signing a lease agreement for a credit/debit card machine, I closed my business. I did the honorable thing and notified CIT. They had permission to withdraw the payment directly from my checking account. Once I notified them they withdrew a double payment. I then started receiving harrassing phone calls... Their employee informed me "YOU OWE ME $2000!" He was screaming at me and demanding I pay him immediately! The caller was nasty and would not work with me on payments. I called them back and got another employee. I told them I would send payment each month, they wanted to withdraw from my personal account or use a credit card. I have since sent a payment every month to them on time. My account will be paid in full in Sept. I called to get the pay off not realizing they would be able to record my unlisted number. They called and demanded payment even though I sent a payment 5 days earlier. This company employees nasty, rude, crude people. Seems to me they must be having a difficult time with their own finances if they must use these tactics to obtain money due them in advance!
