They are harrassing and prey upon those having difficult times

I have had my car loan thru ameri credit for over two years. The first year wasn't bad however I wish my payment hadn't been 373.23 for 72 months. My interest rate is 18.25% and I agree with the others when they say they were pushed into this kind of credit. I wish I had be denied or had to go with a cheaper auto.

I was laid off my job last June and just started back working in January. I had really fallen behind with ameri credit and they were always harrassing me about making quick collects and getting me to pay two payment (753.00) in 30 days. Impossible with my budget even now.

I kept making some payments and they deferred me. They make it sound like they are doing you a favor, but deferred is not a favor. You pay them free interest and they put the other on the end of the loan so you pay extra interest. Such, ripoffs. I am in favor of a class action suit. If for nothing else but the harrassment. I have heard everything from "if you only send one payment it will be sent back" The manager told me today that they couldn't work on me making my current monthly payment and breaking the other payments up over a few months. This has to be brought current!

That is my objective, however they are not working a workable plan. It is their terms or else. They are not the only creditor I have. They went as far as to say that I should ask my disable mother to let her bills go to help me bring this current faster or go to a check cashing service. I still owe them 14000.00 on the original 26000.00 debt and my car is worth 7500.00 blue book. Isn't it a joke. What extortion artist. I'm all for the suit. Maybe the interest I have paid would go toward the principle if we win this thing.
