Ripoff fraudulent charge to my account What a bunch of crooks!

What a bunch of crooks! I checked my account and noticed a fee of 79.95 had been deducted. I called my bank and she told me that it was a credit monitoring agency. I went online and typed in cic credit monitoring and was directed to the rip-offreport webpage. I had no idea that this company was such a loser and had cheated so many people this way.

Needless to say, I immediately called the company - 8775134175 and was able to speak to a representative immediately - Pepper. She was pretty good about getting all my information. I explained to her that yes, I had obtained a credit report but that I had cancelled my membership before the due date via telephone. She said that she (Pepper) would take care of everything and that the money would be refunded to me within 7-10 days. I will wait and see. I also notified my bank but they wanted to cancel my card immediately and they can't if I want the company to refund my money. I will just have to wait and see and call back within 10 day with the reference # that she gave me. I hope it works out because I needed this money NOW!
