Several months ago, I ordered free credit report from ConsumerInfo.com. Based on their website, I am supposed to get a free credit report, but I did not get anything from them. I've just found out that they charged $79.95 to my credit card account. I checheked their website again, I realized that they charge $79.95 annual membership.
Unless I cancel it within 30 days. Another problem is this condition is hard to find on their web site -term and condition is shown only as a link, so customers may not read it unless they click to open it. I called them to cancel my account. They send me a confirm e mail which says that my account was canceled and I will receive a prorated credit - not full refund - to my account within seven to ten business days. I am vey furious about what they are doing. I think this is cheating and should be stopped.
