Over charging on late charges by adding more and more interest to the loan.By almost 1800.00

My son financed a vehicle with Florida Commerce Credit Union for 6066.67 plus 17.99% inter. Rate. Total the amount due $7158.06. He has paid half of the payments due total $3579.03.. He has no made his payments on time which is not good on his part but the bank is charging he 1739.02 is late charges with interest on them. So he is paying the interest on the loan plus the interest on the late fee and penalties. At the time of getting this car is was only 20 years old and this was his first car loan. But called today 5/11 and they are telling me pay off is 5318.05 when is should be 3579.03.. We just would like to end this loan with this bank. But nobody is going to give him their asking pay off for this car. 3579 yes but 5318 no. They saw this young kid coming and had never had any type of financing in his life and now he cant fix the problem by saleing the car... Need help in this matte
