This company doesn't pay on claims, even a lousy $50 they make excuses not to pay

National Union Fire Insurance is out of both Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
and Jacksonville, Floria. This company is a scam - if you get contacted
by them through your bank, don't get their health reimbursement policy!

My bank sent me a notice almost a year ago asking me if I wanted to sign
up for National Union's doctor visit reimbursement policy. My bank
said they would even pay the policy for the first few months and then it
would be easily deducted every month after that.

The policy rate was low so my husband and I decided to give it a try.
Even though we don't go to doctors a lot, we figured that $50
reimbursement for any visit would be a good deal.

After a few months of paying for the policy, my husband visited a doctor
just one time. We filed a claim basically to see how fast they
respond. It's been almost 3 months and we still haven't gotten the
$50! They are slow to send out claims forms but then after you submit
them, you don't hear a thing from them. After almost 3 months, they
send a notice asking for more information (which they already have on
file).

This policy also claims to pay you $50,000 if you're hospitalized -
yeah, right! If they can't process a lousy 50-bucks, they're certainly
not going to pay that much either!

If you've got one of these policies, cancel it now because it's a waste
of your money! Word of warning: when you call to cancel, they will try
to talk you into keeping the policy by making all kinds of excuses and
promises - don't believe it! Just be like a broken record and keep
repeating your want to cancel. And get a verification number of the
cancellation so you can report it to your bank if they keep deducting
premiums!
