CCS First National Merchant Card
Ripoff credit card soliciting to minor children 15 to 17 yrs old

Business & Finance

When my daughter under the age of eighteen received the unsolicited credit card through the mail from CCS I was concerned and angry. I have known of these scams for a long time. I called the number to ask why are the sending out unsolicited to children under the age of eighteen. There representative Bruce Anderson insisted that the only way he could help or answer was to have her social security number and date of birth. When I failed to see the connection between an answer for my question and personal information he became rude, belligerent and hostile.

I know that my current bank of 10 years sold my daughter's information when we opened a student savings account for her when she obtained her first summer job at our local zoo.

Parents be aware that this company is not only sending out these cards to adults, but also to children if they get their names. This company does not have any security measures in place against identity theft and frauds while sending unsolicited credit card through the mail. If CCS were a legitimate business, they would not go to great lengths to hide.
