Leasing Contract

I rented a charge card device from Gold Eagle Leasing years back. I really cannot remember just how long before, however it was within the 1990's. I terminated the agreement a few decades after obtaining the device. I eventually determined it had been a fresh-down. I reduced the agreement and delivered the equipment plus they ultimately ceased subtracting from my bill. I simply acquired a notice today from SKS Affiliates in NYC they had obtained all of the privileges of Golden Eagle Rental. They state that I owe back-taxes and associated processing expenses regarding the gear and certainly will charge my take into account that amoung. The total amount is $160.25. I can not think this. I am sure my paperwork from those times is gone. I understand I'd verification the agreement was satisified. Does anybody know of any legitimate activity anybody has had with one of these individuals or how to deal with?
