Fraud scam ripoff

I recieved a phone call on march 7th from a man named Peter Frances. He stated that i had recently applied for a credit card and they entered the info in as applying for a 25,000 loan and it was only supposed to be for 2,500.
However since it was done wrong he was instructed by the FDIC to call me and reslove the issue and after submitting it correctly i was approved since it was to rebuild my credit. I just had to send in my SECURITY deposit to an allstate agent named Ben Horton, i asked questions and he got defensive and said i had already agreed to the terms and if i didnt then i would be charged 927.00 and it would be taken out of our irs.
I agreed to it and have yet to hear anything or recieve anything! Just beware it is a SCAM and DO NOT trust ANYONE
