Poor customer service

Wanted to refinance house. Texaslending was recommended.initially all was well. Have gone thru closing, fees were reasonable.
Now they want more information about my finances than I should have to provide. For some reason they are fixating on money that was the result of several years of saving, putting into a CD and then cashing the CD to pay for a car. I have had to provide several more pieces of documentation to prove the money trail for something which was adequately explained. I do not feel comfortable with providing so much detailed information especially when it was from several years ago. I make more than enough to pay for the loan in cash but I would rather finance it. They blame it on government regulations. If so, I think that our government is using the financial institutions as their investigative agents when they go prying into individual finance even after being provided with copies of tax returns, employment statements, pay slips, and months/years of checking statements. My credit scores are extremely high and have never defaulted on any thing but they are making me feel like I am marginal at best.

Think twice/three time before using Texas Lending.
