I agree with Carl of Sacramento, CA that it is about time for us to seek a group of lawyers who will listen to our grievance against Ocwen Loan Servicing. Borrowers applying for loan modification are manipulated by encouraging them not to be beyond 60 days of their mortgage payments in order to be approved. As you keep making the payments, the process of your loan modi application are presumably put aside. Why Not? Your kept paying as they recommended and, they are happy as long as you are paying. You can make as much as five calls to Ocwen inquiring if your application is accepted (which takes them more than 45 minutes to answer) and the reply you'll get is the same as in the past…loan denied. Unfortunately, they do not have a definite answer as to why it is denied. They will give you various reasons such as re-submitting your pay stub or asking you to write a letter that you do not have a second house. You should have a “healthy heart” in dealing with Ocwen.
