Removed Funds With Fake Check

I am leary of online bank anything. I am leary of banks. I have an account but it is minimal and kept for the occassional phone or online transaction nothing more. The company sale national of america is not a company i ahve ever heard of or done business with. Recently they romed $35. From my account with a fake check (i have never had a check or card on this account ever). This fake check resulted in an additional $58.00 in overdraft fees. Why a bank will authorize funds with a zero balance and no protection plan who knows. My attempts to contact or find this company are resulting in dead ends. I am forced to close this account.

I will continue to be leary.
