DFAS Lazy, Incompetent Service Reps Don't Care about You or Your Finances!

I have had the "pleasure" to deal with DFAS for about 7 years now, and have rarely ever had a fulfilling customer service experience with them. The interest rate on their debts are pretty low, but I honestly would rather deal with loan sharks than this ignorant bunch. They seriously could care less about you or your financial situation; and since they (as a government-run company) don't really have to answer to anyone, they usually treat you with as little respect as possible, knowing that they can and will get away with it. Check their profile rating with the BBB if you don't believe me.*

Instance after instance I have had negative run-ins with these people.in my latest case, a fax was misplaced (on their end) and after about a month of me calling day after day insisting that they look for it, they found it. I had finally gotten a supervisor with some decency and common sense that looked through the pile of faxes RIGHT NEXT TO THE FAX MACHINE (as he stated) and found my "lost" fax. Ridiculous. (BIG thanks to this nice man, though. He knows who he is ^_^) But this wasn't my first issue with them, by ANY means. And most likely won't be the last until I'm done paying this debt.

Debt companies like this wonder why so many people nowadays are defaulting on their loans (and/or going postal), but they don't care until after it happens and the person's life is ruined. Actually no, wait. They still don't care even then.
