Threatened me with legal action and now say they have a block to put on my social security numbe

I started getting calls from this company a few months ago. They said I have a payday loan for $350.00 that has defaulted. I have asked them for information to be sent to me because I didn't recall ever having done a payday loan.

I was sent to a supervisor after that. He spoke with an Indian accent. He started yelling at me threatening me with legal action. He told me if I didn't pay him that day they would sent everything to court that day. I again asked for them to send me some proof so i could go to my lawyer and get the matter straightened out. The man started screaming at me telling me I had to pay today. I hung up.

They have been calling me every couple of weeks since then. They are now telling me if I don't pay them that moment they will put a block on my social security number.

The scary part is they have my social security number. They know my bank account number. They never call from the same state. I have received calls from New York, North Carolina, and Florida.

I have decided to go to the police and my lawyer about this.
