Talked with Curtis on December 29 about obtaining some funding to purchase a truck for our business from a private party. After explaining the time crunch we were in to obtain funding Curtis told me that we could be funded within 48 hours. Then spoke to my husband and told him it would be 72 hours at the most. We explained our current situation and that our credit score and report was not going to look good. We explained what we had been through in 2010 with a foreclosure, bankrupcty and how 2 of our 3 business trucks were surrendered to the bank. He said they work with people all the time with bad credit situations and it would not be a problem. He did state that he was not allowed to give us a gaurentee but they fund 98% of their clients. Against my better judgment I gave them my credit card and they charged us $249.00. Well after underwriting contacted me on the 30th we were told our poor credit rating would prevent them from getting us funding at this time. However, if we wanted to pay them another $1499.00 they would do the work to clean up our credit report. And basically they would not be able to do anything for us until we resolved some issues on our credit report. Well you have to wait up to 30 days to get disputes resolved. After attempting to get a refund for misrepresentation I spoke with Jay (compliance officer) and he was unwilling to do anything to accept their out right lying tactics to get peoples money. Do not work with them!!
