Easy check cashing

I love Freddie's Liquors in Campbell, CA. After wasting an hour trying to get a check from the State of California cashed at Wal-Mart (and being told they couldn't do it), my friend mentioned she knew of Freddie's and that they were open late. We got there after 9 PM on a Friday night. The check I had was for over $5,000. And Freddie's cashed it without a problem! Wal-Mart Mountain View didn't even have the funds to cash a $5,000. Check - and I had called ahead to make sure it wouldn't be a problem. Thank goodness for Freddie's!
