Strange and possible illegal behavio

I've been talking to a couple from Collabera for that previous two times. They appear to be calling from Asia or some such location. They desired to suggest me to get a contract work with Verizon Wireless in Silver Spring, doctor. I live near Charlotte, NC. Early along the way they acted unusually by recommending I alter my application so the work name from prior jobs resembled the published work purpose (Manager). When questioned whether I'd be prepared to work-in doctor, I stated it'd be good but I'd have to element in expenses of transport and lodging. Then unusually they agreed to boost the hourly payment fee. I had been dubious that the employment company might have this bargaining power.

After I finally recommended they publish my application, I had been requested for my day of delivery and also the last 5 numbers of my social protection amount to meet up a Verizon necessity. I nearly considered to conform, however I believed (1) no body has actually requested for these details to use to get a work, and (2) I Will guess with these two items of info somebody might decide the whole SSN.

If this can be a fraud to acquire private information, that we believe it is, it's certainly of the cheapest order to victim on people that are unemployed, losing their time and directing their initiatives from effective actions, and worse, taking from people that are living about the advantage.
