Interest on loan

I got out financing in 2007 for 10,000.00. I've been late several times (shocking~I understand) as well as for some cause it creates sense for them that I owe $10,800 more than 3 years later. I am talking about, seriously, it might not drop atleast only a little after spending over $9000.00. I dislike these folks and that I have no idea just how to actually have it along. Am I likely to be spending with this mortgage for that remainder of my entire life?
