MetLife just acquired my mortgage from AMTrust. I've been paying, surcharge-free, ever since I re-fi'd with AMTrust, but MetLife Home Loans charges an $11 JIT fee. I bet the JIT stands for "just in time, " but I pay weeks ahead. Now I have to write a check, every month OR pay extra for THEM to save money.
Screw MetLife! If they EVER contact me to buy insurance or investments, I will teach the jerks a few new multi-syllabic profanities!!!
