Allied Interstate
Tried to double dip into my bank account with one authorization

I admit I had a bill go into collections and on 11/14 I gave authorization to allied state over the phone to deduct the 29.95 I owed from my account with check # 3913 on the 20th it came through.

On the same day check # 888888 came in for the same amount 29.95. On the 21st I call the bank to find out that allied interstate tried to submit two checks with two different # for 29.95.

I was fortunate to be able to stop the payment on check # 888888 because I checked my account the vary next day it happened. There is a 24 hour period to reverse any electronic payments.

It's not over check #3913 was paid to Allied Interstate. On the 21st after calling the bank I called allied Interstate and a rep. Told me they had the payment from ch#3913 as of today 12/02 thay say that it wasn't paid and thay are still calling.

George even you have to think this is wrong or you are in on the fraud yourself.
