Providian Aka Emerge
Ripoff I had a Providian visa, they change in to Emerge, now I pay finance charges 29.99% so ballance never goes less than 20$ after I send $130 is there justice? Nationwide

I was a Providian visa card owner, and one day Providian decide to change the name in my card. Say now it's called Emerge.

Even though I was paying always on time my bill though Emerge Master card never aknowledge this fact.

So today after 5 years all together I still pay 29.99% finance charges. Is there any justice? My principle balance drops about $19.00 a month. This on a minimum monthly payment of $130.00.
