Like everyone else, I received a phone call from these people. They told me because I had applied for a major credit card and been denied, I was now eligible to receive their offer. So on 11/6/03 I made the mistake of calling them back. They told me I would receive a $3,500.00 credit card for a small fee...$349.00. I fell hook, line and sinker. Before I knew what i was really doing they had my consent, checking account numbers and check number. I was excited at the prospect of receiving a credit card with some actual credit. They were schedled to take the money electronically from my account on 11/24/03. Imagine my suprize when I found this company in your "hallofshame".

I put a stop payment on the electronic check. The bank tells me they still could take the money from my account. This after I was charged a fee to stop the check. I tried several times to cancel with them. Each time I was given another phone number to call and another person to tell me they could not find me in their files. I filed a complaint with the attorney generals office and now I wait to see if they will take the money out of my account. I feel really stupid having fallen for this scam, but want to let people know about this company!
