Almost Ripped Off

This is a rip off... I called, spoke to Steven we talked about a loan modification. I did share some of my monthly expenses but not any personal information. After about 10 or 15 minutes on the phone I was passed on to another person then back to the original person.
When he told me that he needed $1500 I told him I would not be sending any money he passed me on to another person; when I told that person I would not send money the call was lost (they hung up).

Did a little more research found them on the Better Business website and they are not accredited with them and they have a D business rating. They have almost 50 complaints with the BBB.
Thought living through Hurricanes Katrina and Rita that maybe the Scams would stop in Louisiana, but I see they have not.
