A man by the name of George called to tell me I was preapproved for a Mastercard For 187.00 I recieved a book and a few bogus coupons

Business & Finance

I had applied for a credit card online the previous week. This man named George called and told me I had been preapproved for a mastercard credit card. All I had to do was give him my bank account number so he could get the 187.00 payment. I was very leery of this offer but for some dumb reason I went and did it. After our phone call I called the company and asked for a manager.

She came to the phone and told me yes, that this man worked for primeonefinancial and that it was all legitimate. I felt better after that. I called about three more times in the next two weeks and was reassured each time that all was well.

When I finally got the package it was a book about credit and some bogus looking coupons. I immediately called my attorney and was told to send it back and ask for a return of my 187.00.

I will be calling my attorney tomorrow to see what I should do at this point. Obviously, they aren't going to send back my money.

Boy, did I learn a lesson on this one. I will never do anything like that again.
