Client unauthorized access to business account

This is the second report I filed in less then a week about bad business. Few months ago we recieved a call from a shipping company saying they have a package that they can not verify. We asked about who it was from, and they didn't know. We then asked what was in the package, and they said pharmaceuticals. We are a computer shop, not a pharmacy, so we declined the package.

Early November

We ordered supplies and parts one day, and the next day recieved a call from the supplier that our business bank card was declined. We checked the bank statements, no odd transactions, and the account balance was fine. So we called the bank hotline, and was told that our card was "Stopped" The rep. Told us that an unauthorized access to our account with the business card number occured. The rep. Told us who charged the account, JP Media, and as a security precaution the card was stopped and a new one will be issued.

So this has put a stop to our business ordering using our card. From what I have read and inquired, JP Media according to the BBB is a pharmaceutical wholesale business, and have not been able to confirm a valid business license. I have also read elsewhere that they claim to be an IPSP that handles payment services. But sense I don't know which business they are into is true, nor their client's business name that they handle the credit info for, the finger points to JP Media.

Thankfully the payment was stopped. But then again, our business was practically halted because all the ordering could not be completed for our customer's upgrades, repairs, etc. Again, this is the second report I filed on businesses or scam artists this week. See my listing on Union Tel.
