They took my money in my time of need, I was taking advantage of

I applyed for a loan and was accepted and e mailed. I recieved paper work explaining everything. I was told I had to send a security deposit for insurance reasons. SO me at the that desperate time being nieve, I did. I was very skeptical. I called and called. I was never transfered to anyone. I was lied to. I money gramed 400$ I believe to Canada. I never got a result. I would call and call. Finally I just never recieved any money so I never sent the other half of the deposit. I took it as I got took for my hard earned money and I am still upset til this day regarding this issue. I would love to get my money back. I juat dont understand how you do this to people and sleep at night.
