Delta Dental
Insurance Re-einbursement

Business & Finance

In Jan I had to have 21 teeth extracted and temporary dentures put in place. I filed with my dental insurance (Delta Dental) and the claim was paid. After 2 years with the " temporary " dentures, I had to have them replaced with permanant sets of dentures, due to the temporary dentures no longer were able to be adjusted because of the shrinkage of my gums. After having the new dentures fitted on 02/22 I paid the bill in full $475.00. I then filed with my insurance company and was denied covereage. At that time I was informed that they will only cover new dentured every 5 years. I am in complete unbelief that a company that I pay for dental insurance is able to choose how long a person must go between service in order for them to pay their part. I expect more from an insurance company that has received my bi-weekly payments for years without fail, with very few claims being filed in that time. I expect the re-einbursement that I am due in a tim manner. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Aaron J. Broxson
