I was told that I was approved for a refund on April 2. It is now June 14, and no refunds. They are not returning my phone calls or responding to my emails

I started the loan modification process with 1st American Law Center on December. I was told by their manager, Shelveen Singh, that my case would be a "guarantee win" given all my financial situations and current market conditions. I paid $4,500 for their assistance on negotiating a loan modification for me and my family. Once they deducted the payment from my bank account, I barely got a single call or update from 1st American Law Center. I sent them numerous emails and messages, but no response. I would call them leaving atleast 10 messages daily, and still no calls or updates. I finally got a short email from Greig Rubio 3 months later stating my ineligibility for a loan modification due to current changes in my banks policy. He referred me to their customer relations manager, Joseph Kruk, who informed me that I am eligible for a refund on April 2. It is now June 14, and still no refund. Again, I have tried tirelessly to get in touch with them for my refund, and no return calls or email replies.
I was put through hell by 1st American Law Center, and I am now seeking legal council to help me get my refund. These people are not to be trusted. They have taken advantage of me and my family in our time of financial difficulty, and they are nothing but crooks.
