5/3 Bank - Fifth Third Bank
5/3 Bank Lowered My Credit Limit

My wife and I have had several autos financed with 5/3 (all have been payed off, and on time) we have a mortgage financed with this bank as well. We have auto debits set up to pay our monthly bills on time and always more that the minimum that's due. We had a credit card that was attached to our main checking account for overdraft protection with a limit of 6000.00 If and we we used that line of credit we always paid it off. Recently we had to depend it it more and more due to the economy and we ran the limit on the card. After two months of the card being maxed out and making the payments as due, we paid 4000.00 on the card and got the balance to less than 2000.00 The other day my wife was at the grocery and attempted to use the card for her purchaseand got declined! When my wife called the bank, she was told that our account was revied the 1st of June and our limit was decreased to 1900.00... There was no phone call, no email, no explanation what so ever! When my wife asked the CSR, the bank said 'Well if we told you that we were going to lower your limit, you would run right out and charge up the card again!' You stay Classy Fifth Third...
