Law offices of Lloyd and Ward I was mislead. They promised me they would settle my debt. They never did

Business & Finance

The law offices of Lloyd and Ward promised me they would settle my debt. I would make payments into a 'third party". Note World would keep $45 a month, the rest goes toward my credit card debt. After two months of missing payments on my credit card and making payments to Note World, my credit card companies claimed they never recieved a proposal by phone or mail. Debt settlement would have to be paid in full in one month; not over a long period of time. I asked them "if Note World takes $45 a month fee, how do you make your fee?'. They never got back to me on that. I believe they own Note World. After a few months you will realize you have been conned. I threatened I would file a complaint with the Texas bar association. Then they refunded me my money minus the $45 a month fee. I am now filling bakruptsy.
