I've been job hunting for the past couple weeks, as I imagine a lot of others are, and I got this in my email. I'm very careful where my email address is displayed, so I'm surprised that a con artist got a hold of it. It sounds like a typical internet scam where they tell you to perform a task and they'll pay you. There are different variations of it, such as a wealthy man in Europe who needs you to cash a big check for him and then send him most of it back. This one claims that for a few hours of work a day, you could make $10k a month. Job hunters beware, this is not your lucky break, it's a scam where they'll ask you to cash a fake check and send them money.
I've attached the original email. There was no mention of the company and no contact info besides the email address. Also, the name on the email address is different than the name of the person contacting me.
