Tax Defenders
Strung us along for years. Thousands of dollars later, we're still where we were

We initiated contact with the Tax defenders after a levy was placed on our bank account. We got to talk to the big guy, who was certain he could help. We have a pretty big issue, so it cost over $2k to start I think...

They did get the levy or lien released, but then we started working. Copies and copies of paperwork and statements. Reams of paper - maybe 8 reams over 4 years of copies of my financials. Sometimes they would receive the paper, and sometimes they wouldn't. Regardless, I worked over and over to send them all the paperwork they wanted, over and over again.

During this time (4 years) they were able to stop various things, and give us reports of things, and they eventually got us in CNC status (which lasts a year) and then if we sent more money, they would go further.

Bottom line is we were in about $9k total. We never had an offer in compromise submitted, and we just got screwed. We got no money back, and now we have liens on the house. I'm not happy. They should be. They got me!
