This is how I foung out what FCNB was doing...

I have a broker who is trying to get my house refinanced. He calls me the other day to find out why I haven't been paying my FCNB account. I told him I didn't have an FCNB account. He respond by saying well according to them I owe them $856.00. I racked my brain to figure this out??? Then the light went on in my brain!!! My husband has an FCNB account. Yeah, my husband.

Now some of you would say, yeah, that makes since (married couple, joint account) WRONG!!! I never had a card on this accout and I wasn't ON the account as a co borrower. I did however call FCNB several times while I was still with my husband and make payments over the phone (which by the way I too was NEVER able to get a rep to tell me how much to pay to keep the finance charges from sending the card over limit either). And here is real kicker! I haven't seen my husband in almost a year (mid life crisis... His, not mine) and NOW that I'm trying to refinance my house FCNB has somehow attached HIS debt for which I was NOT a party to to MY credit bureaus. I was never even an authorized user on the accout (didn't want to be). All I ever did was make a payment on the account.

NOW, I would like to know... To WHOM do I have to speak to have this matter resolved and is there a class action suite pending? This is CLEARLY fraud. How can a company be allowable to operate with such disregard for people privacy (how did they get my permission to attach anything to my SSN, I never signed anything)?
