Ge capital con cc / care credit unauthorized debit from my bank account

I have had this credit account since 1998. I have paid these people on time every month and had nothing but a hassle from them since day one. As a final kick in the rear, when i made my final payment to them over the phone first their rep took my bank info and did not process it correctly.

I received a letter from these people a week later telling me that my payment could not be processed and i now owed a late fee as well as my payment. After much arguing, i got the late fee dropped (i thought). I have now received another letter telling me that my payment will be debitted from my account. I authorized a payment of 133.33 and they have processed a payment of 164.66. They charged a late fee even though it was supposedly taken off the account. I have spent another 20 minutes on the phone with them today and have been promised a refund of the overcharged amount. We shall see.

These people are very shady and very difficult to deal with. If this is the way that they run their company (and obviously it is) then i recommend to everyone that you do not ever get involved with them if you can help it. I personally would starve first before i got any credit from them.

Run screaming in the other direction!!! This is a rip-off in the truest sense of the word!!
