If your thinking of going through USAA to buy a new home be very careful. First off your going to be paying $350.00 for a good faith estimate. Charging for this is agianst the law according to RESPA. There customer service in this section has to be the most un-educated individuals in there whole company. How can this company operate with out complying with VA rules or RESPA rules. If you decide to use this company be sure you now your rights and the regulations becuase USAA dosn't. Ref - VA pamphlet 26-4 and CFR 38, along with the RESPA handbook.
