I have never heard of GPM Merchandise Direct. Yet, I found a debit trying to come through on our account for $35.85. From what I could find online, this isn't an unusual occurance, unfortunately. Although, from everything I've read, this happens to folks who either receive a phone call from them or order something from them. I did neither. I've never heard from them, and haven't made an over-the-phone purchase. Yet, we had a pending debit due to post to our account. Luckily I caught it early and it was easy enough to call my bank and report it. Sadly, some are not as lucky, with even larger sums of money taken from their bank accounts. I do not understand how this is happening. With such fraud accusations against this company, if it is a legitimate company, how are they still in business?
