Or Capital Acquisitions and Management Company Trying to collect on a 16yr old debt that was part of a bankruptcy. Ripoff

Camco rep called and claimed I owed them $4500.00USD from a debt I claimed in a bankruptcy in 1987. I have gone on and rebuilt my credit and this was the first I heard of this. I went on line to look this company up and of course it brought me here first-thank goodness!

I was going to send them copies of my court docs that fortunately I had kept for just such a circumstance but after reading all the reports I decided it was a much too sensitive doc to send them even a copy of. I then chose to ignore them. Now I received a letter from them stating that if I paid them the sum of close to $2600.00USD instead of their outrageous claim of $9754.00USD they would settle for that. I was completely furious. I cannot believe the audacity of these people.
