I would like to thank you for your site and the information it provided that stopped me from making a big mistake.
A few days ago I ended up getting a confirmation for a $15,000 Gold Card from First National Credit but the many tip-offs about it being a scam being no mention of a major credit card line like Visa or Mastercard along with giving none of the standard credit card details. After doing a search on the web I found your complaint site and thankfully got enlightened before I ended up getting hooked into this scam.
I noticed the Attorney General's consumer protection lawsuit against First National Credit was filed in April to stop this practice in California. But now it appears that First National Credit has expanded in the attempts to still sucker people. I'm thankful that your site tipped me off but having this con make its way to Texas makes me uncomfortable and I wonder if and how complaints should be filed in other states against this fraudulent corporation.
Sincerely,
Alan R. Nepomuceno
