Ripoff misleading, harassing, threatening I stated that I wanted no further phone contact from this company and she replied with "I will call you every day."

Like many others, I was contacted by phone only a week ago concerning a debt I allegedly applied for in 1991. Alarmed, I asked for more info. They had knowledge of my SS# and name, yet they had addresses which I had never lived in plus they were very rude and short with me. After one insult too many I hung up.

Today I received a call from a Mr. Black with Camco who was polite and acknowledged that a mistake could have been made.

Not 20 minutes later a second call was received from another employee with Camco who wanted me to settle this debt at once. They repeated inacurate information to which I questioned repeatedly. To my surprise a second person who was listening in on the conversation, she introduced herself as the "Investigative Monitor", began to correct me on my attitude. At this point I stated that I wanted no further phone contact from this company and she replied with "I will call you every day..."

Thanks to this website I know my suspicions were warranted.
