Ripoff scam con artists fraud took us for all we had What makes me crazy is they are using reputable people to go with their scam

I received a phone call stating I was pre approved for a credit card in the amount of 2500 credit limit. They stated they needed some information, which I gave them. They never mentioned they were going to withdraw it from my account.

Well a couple of days later I called the number they had given me and it was not a valid number. So then I went to the bank and cancelled a check they they told me they needed so I can get a packet with info on how to keep your credit in good standings in the amount of 298.00. I cancelled that check.

But then this morning I check my account not only did they put the check through the bank but they also did an ACHD in the amount of 298.00 So I am out 596.00.

My bank is looking into it, but this is rediculous. People watch yourselves there are a lot of idiots out there. What makes me crazy is they are using reputable people to go with their scam.
