(aka Un-Fairbanks) Bogus Interest Fees, Attorney Fees and "Other" fees

I just want to sell my house. Some very nice people just want to buy my house. Un-Fairbanks is making this impossible.

They say my payoff statement came direct from their bankruptcy attorney. When I called the attorney they said "we've sent them nothing". Un-Fairbanks says the attorneys fees are over $16,000 dollars. The attorney had me fax over the payoff statement. (The result of this is yet to be determined. I'll let you know)

Also, Un-Fairbanks claims I have not made a payment since April. (Not true) Because of this they have been charging me accrued interest of $85 per day since then totaling $42,042.

In the real world I would walk away from this deal with money in my pocket.in the bizzaro world of Un-Fairbanks I now owe fifty thousand dollars more than I purchased the home for!!!

If this isn't predatory lending then god save us all. If anyone has some advice for me I sure could use it ASAP. Our scheduled close next week is clearly delayed if not completly ruined.
