I received 5 calls from this company in the space of 30 minutes. They were looking for my wife and saying that she applied for an auto loan online. They were using her maiden name (which she hasn't used since we got married 7 months ago). They refuse to answer any questions and hang up when I try to get additional information. The caller says that they are from the "Auto Loan Network" and the caller ID information comes up "Name Unavailable" with the number being 286-789-2541. To my knowledge, there is no area code 286.
When confronted, these people become blustery and hang up the phone.
Do NOT fall for any of their tactics or give them any information!
