Overzealous scam artists

A man by the name of "Danny Arthur" repeatedly calls my phone, both personal and my work phone. He alledges that I took out a payday loan in the amount of $300 and must repay it before "charges are filed." He claims that $650 will take care of the matter outside the court. He also says that if I dont pay that I will be arrested. I made the mistake of paying him or the company "Central Investigation of Finance" $210. I was scared that I would be arrested. It wasn't until after that I made the payment that I realized I has already repaid a prior payday loan and that amount that that I has borrowed was half the amount that he was claiming.
When I called back and began to question him about the name of the company the loan was from and the exact date the alleged loan was deposited he became very angry. He yelled and said that I must make a payment. Since the original amount of money that I gave him I havent given him anymore. I have recieved as many as 38 missed calls in a 30 minute time frame from him. I refuse to give him any more money. Don't make the same mistake that I did.
