Ripoff, unnessary charges screwed others too

I had a credit card threw them and me and my wife cut up the credit card and sent it back to them we still got statements from them saying that we owed them the member fee i called and told them that we cancelled the card but they still charged us then i looked into it and they where still letting people charge my card but after a year

I finally took care of it then my mom called the other night and said that capital one sent her a credit card that had a $500.00 credit on it and she didnt even activate it and they charged her 2 months member fee which came out to $96 something dollars for the month and she called and told them that she never activated the card but they still charged her she called me in stress i told her not to pay its not your fault if they start to threaten you let me know i know how those things work
