Acting throug an agent they had signed up a promotional 18 month 0% interest credit with the monthly installment plan supposedly to repay back loan in 18 month... Wrong!

Business & Finance

A payment for the future medical services.
While in medical office were asked if we needed financing. As a result we had signed up for promotional 18 month interest free credit card from Medchoice. Got monthly payments calculated for us by medical offece personel in a way to repay a full loan amount in 18 months, the monthly payment sum was written on a credit card contract. Contract had also stated 22.5% APR.
Came home, took a further look at the contract, had multiplied monthly payment amount, stated in the contract, by 18 month and came out by 30% short of full loan repayment. Had read the fine print - usual stuff, if loan was not paid in full at the end of promotional period then 22.5% interest kicks in from the day one.
The thing which got our attention and made us recalculate numbers, when we had examined the contract at home, was the word 'APPROX.' written next to a monthly payment sum. Somebody had covered their rear ends... No wording like 'the loan will be paid in full in 18 months' had appeared anywhere on contract. I guess the company could simply disregard any complaints by simply stating that there is nothing in the contract which stipulates full load repayment during the given time period and whatever medical office people were telling us was their... So, signing party beware... We did not...
Canceled credit card next business day. Found out that medical office charged a full sum of the services to be performed in the following year or so already.
