Bank Cash Holds and Triple over drafts

I thought at first that Chartway was a good bank. One day I took a check to the bank to cash it. They told me that they have a policy that they could not give me cash right then from the check. They told me that they had to hold it for 5 days until I could touch any of my money. This does not make any sense. I had bills to pay and a time to have them paid before I get charged a fee. I should not have to wait 5 days to get my money that I deposited in the bank. That is wrong
Not only that but I did mistakingly bounced a 5 dollar check. I missed writing it down in my book. It bounced and I got charge 27 dollars. The next day they charged me another 27 dollars for the same check. I was told by them that they are allowed to take 3 overdraft fees per item. This is a rip off, especially for those who are struggling in this world. I will be switching banks as soon as possible before they pull another rip off on me. I will do that tomorrow when I get paid.
