Bank Of America - BofA
BOA, B of A Unfair Banking Practice

Business & Finance

When I use an ATM from a competitor - usually its another bank, I always print out a slip of my "Available Balanace" before withdrawing, just to make sure I am on the safe side.

When I review my transaction history I notice a fee that appears from nowhere, that dreaded overdraft fee $35.00 precious dollars attached to my withdrawal. As I bring this to the attention of a BofA Rep. The usual response is that the fee was delayed to my account for the transaction. How could it be delayed when I printed an Available Balance receipt before withdrawing?

Does Bank of America withold the most current and up-to-date info about my account before allowing a transaction from a competitor to post? It doesn't matter which bank I use, I tried this method out and still receive surcharges for each transaction - even though my Available Balance receipt shows the money is there.

This is an unfair practice to diminish competitive banks accuracy and authorization for interchange account activity using ATMs by consumers. Has anyone else faced something similar to my situation? I want to hear you out!

The banks policy is if checks come in on the weekend they pay the largest one first on the following Monday. So if your first debit is on Sat morning. That way they can charge each transaction OD f over drafts are paid by the largest amount first
