Marcelo Ballona promised our company that he would perform specific tasks related to our advertising and mapping needs. We lent him money to establish himself in Miami and to get settled. Certain tasks were assigned to him but he produced nothing. He mislead us with respect to relationships he said he had but in fact they were lies and he did not have the relationships described. And when we challenged him and asked for the deliverables, he disappeared disconnected his phone, failed to return e-mails, dropped out of site and simply took $16,000 but provided nothing in return.
