Same thing, promised the world and deceived on how it was presented

The same as others that reported Banker's life... They promise you the world and don't tell you exactly how it is done. They never stated that on MOnday and Wednesday you would be on the phone all day trying to set appointments from stale lists, and I mean lists of potentials that were either on DNC, not home or already customers. If they can't filter out current customers that this is a big farce. I actually made 3 appointments with current customers and was embarrased when my trainer and I showed up and they thought is was an annual review. I also told the manager that I was new to the industry and needed training, but after watching a 2 hour video and listen to my trainer make a few calls (of which I wasn't able to hear the other end of the conversation) I was "thrown to the wolves." It was frustrating that I was the only one left at 6:30 on the Wednesday andonly half the appointments made for the next 2 days. My trainer had to make appointments so he could make a paycheck since the commissions were split. Also, I never got to see a presentation until the last day of the week, and incidently, the last day I worked there. It took over 3 months to get the commission check and I feel that had I not said anything, I would not have received it. It's too baqd since the trainer is LDS and for him to try and keep the whole thing is really theft! I put a lot of faith in this job, drained all our savings to get licensed and pay bills ahead because we knew no money for over a month after starting, and then all the misrepresentation. The manager has his sights only on openeing a new branch in a year and nothing about proper traing of reps to build his current business or even keep the current ones.
