Blue Collar Investments Made promises that they did not keep - cost me more then $20,000

I met Louis in October. I spent some time with him talking through his companies investment strategy and how I could be a part. It looked very promising and had a great deal of upside. Louis' has been doing this for more than 10 years and it seems like a solid company.

My initial investment was $2500 an this was going to get me into 5 homes in the detroit area. I had to OVERNIGHT the money at the end of October in order to be a part of this. I did it. One week later, I received information about my first home. I was thrilled... Then I got information on two more. Again, things were looking great. After that, I was told that they were only going to do THREE homes now and we would do the other two later. I went through the closing on all three homes at the end of November. When I arrived at closing, there were TWO different homes on the list... I was told that these were better homes than the two I had been looking at. I decided to continue through the process.

Part of the PROMISE on these homes was that I was to receive the equivalent of three months PRE-PAID MORTGAGE on each of my homes. I got my first partial check in January ($500). I contacted Louis to find out where the REST of the money was, and he told me it was in the mail - I never got it.

The MANAGEMENT Company that they chose for me was an ILLEGAL Management company in Michigan. They were not Licensed, they were not paying Taxes, they were just collecting money from me. It turns out they get the first months RENT as payment for all of their marketing. So, December went by and I received nothing. January, the renters decided not to pay, so they were asked to LEAVE (evicted). New renters were put in place in February and again, the management company got the first months rent. Because these are section 8 tenants (the state pays the first months rent), the management company had a deal going where they didn't even check the credit on the renters because the state paid for the first months rent and that is all they cared about.

I even had the management company give a potential renter KEYS to one of my houses with the promise that they would give a security deposit. The tenants never gave the security deposit, but the management company got their first months rent. When they went to kick them out of the house - they TRASHED it. Pulled up every piece of carpeting in the house, broke all the windows, ripped out every piece of pipe that was exposed. Again, I got NOTHING out of this. I finally fired the management company and hired someone new.

I repaired the homes and by June, I was able to fill them with decent renters and have them managed by a great company. I still have never received my pre-paid mortgage checks. It cost me more than $20,000 to repair the homes AFTER Louis did the rehab work. After one year, things are starting to look up.

Blue Collar (Louis Plummer) made me a lot of promises when we were getting started. He was going to help me put these homes in my BUSINESS NAME - He didn't help and now I own them personally. He was going to help me do LAND CONTRACTS so that I would be able to get out of paying Taxes. He didn't help here either. He has a video on YouTube that is just a bunch of LIES in my opinion.

I hope anyone who is considering doing business with Louis Plummer would reconsider. I am very frustrated with their services.
